Terry Heller
CEO
A seasoned entrepreneur, Terry Heller has built a dynamic career spanning real estate, hospitality, and strategic investments. In 2005, he founded Heller Holdings, focusing on transforming commercial and residential properties through smart, forward-thinking investments.
In 2012, he launched Clever Hospitality, debuting the acclaimed Plan Check Kitchen + Bar, which helped redefine Sawtelle’s dining scene and expanded to four locations across Los Angeles.
In June 2024, Terry acquired Preferred Roofing, bringing his expertise in business growth and brand development to the roofing industry. With a vision to build America’s biggest and most trusted roofing brand, his leadership is driving the company’s expansion and success.
Zach Boren
President | Head of Sales
Zach Boren is the President of Preferred Roofing, dedicated to overseeing daily operations and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Management, he brings a strategic approach to the business. Originally from New York, Zach now lives in Sherman Oaks, CA, with his wife, Michele, and their two daughters, Liv and Blake. Zach is an avid Los Angeles Rams and New York Knicks fan, he also enjoys golfing, and spending time with family.
Kiffani Slettedahl
Vice President | Operations
Kiffani Slettedahl is the Vice President of Operations at Preferred Roofing, ensuring seamless scheduling and production so customers feel valued, and installations run smoothly. A third-generation roofer, she grew up in the industry as her father operated Konrad Roof Co. in Southern California for over 50 years. Kiffani lives in Woodland Hills, CA, with her husband, Charles, and their two daughters, Kadence and Quinn. With a passion for organization and crafts, she brings both precision and creativity to everything she does.

Marketing Coordinator
Hey, I'm Oliver! I run the marketing for Preferred Roofing, making sure our message shines as bright as our roofs. I graduated from USC in 2021 and am a proud LA native. When I'm not crafting campaigns, you can find me meditating, journaling, or getting lost in a good book. Keeping it mindful, one rooftop at a time!
Erika Sandoval
Operations Manager
Erika Sandoval is the Operations Manager at Preferred Roofing, overseeing accounting, customer onboarding, and office support to ensure the entire team operates at the highest level. With over seven years at Preferred Roofing, she brings dedication and efficiency to every aspect of her role. Erika is deeply committed to her husband, Fernando, and their four loving children. In her free time, she enjoys the simple pleasures of life, from caring for her plants to antique shopping and getting lost in a great book.

Matt is an identical twin originally from New Haven, CT. He loves a Clint Eastwood Western, the New York Football Giants, breakfast burritos, his wife Nicole, his baby son Micky, and his firstborn -- a terrier named Roger.
Sam Klemmer
Roofing Specialist
Sam is your typical Los Angelino - aka an east coast transplant. He was born in Boston and lived in New York City before moving to Southern California. In his free time, he likes to golf, ski, and write comedy. He even wrote a romantic comedy movie you can watch on Amazon! When you meet Sam, he encourages you to remind him to wear sunscreen and drink some water.
